Coastal Navigation Course

The course seeks provides the fundamental knowledge and basic principles of Navigation, and introduces the student to Charts and Chart work, Definitions & Explanations of Navigational terms, Navigational aids and an understanding of Tides, Buoys and lights and Preparation for sea pilotage & passenger planning and a host of relevant topics.  It also reinforces the Rules of the road.

This training is recommended for individuals who wish to enhance their knowledge in navigation, who forms part of a navigational watch or is pursuing a career as a Captain/Boat. Master.
