Advance Fire FIghting Table A-VI/3

Aims to deliver approved training techniques to persons who may be designated to control Advance Fire Fighting operations   as their duty aboard ship.

This course provides the level of knowledge and understanding of the subjects listed in column 2 of the table A-VI/3  of  STCW Code and is sufficient  for the effective control of fire-fighting operations on board a ship, techniques for fighting fire, with particular emphasis on organization, tactics and command, in accordance with the provisions of section A-VI/3, paragraphs 1 to 4 of the STCW Code and shall meet the standard of competence specified therein.

Upon completion the operator will be equipped to demonstrate competence to undertake the tasks, duties and responsibilities as listed in Table A-VI/3  of the STCW Code and maintain a constant  state of readiness.
